SAGE HOLDER PEARL WHITE ABALONE SHELL

SAGE HOLDER PEARL WHITE ABALONE SHELL

A shell for the one who cleanses their space with sage or palo santo, and wants a safe, beautiful place to hold it while the smoke does its work.

USES

- Safely holds burning sage, palo santo, incense and resin

- Catches falling ash and embers while you cleanse your home

- Adds the element of water to your smudging ritual

- Doubles as a display dish for crystals and tumbles on your altar

WHY IT'S CALLED SAGE HOLDER

Abalone shells have been used for smudging for generations. The shell comes from the sea, so it brings the element of water into a cleansing ritual that already uses earth (the sage), fire (the flame) and air (the smoke). This pearl white abalone has a soft, shimmering finish that makes your ritual feel calm and sacred.

HOW TO USE

- Place a thin layer of sand or salt in the shell before you burn anything

- Light your sage or palo santo, let the flame go out, and rest it in the shell

- Carry the shell from room to room to catch ash as you cleanse

- Fully put out the sage by pressing it into the sand when you finish

CARE

The shell can get warm, so always use a layer of sand or salt and never leave burning sage unattended. Keep away from children and pets while in use. Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth; do not soak in water.

FAQ

1) Can I burn sage directly in the shell? Use a layer of sand or salt first. It protects the shell from heat and helps put out the sage safely.

2) Can I use it without sage? Yes. It makes a beautiful dish for crystals, rings or tumbles on your altar or bedside.

3) Why abalone and not a bowl? Abalone shells are traditionally used for smudging and bring the water element into your cleansing ritual.

GOOD TO KNOW

Smudging supports your intention to cleanse and refresh your space. Always burn with care in a ventilated room.
